On 19th June in DI, Seminar on China’s Trade Policy was jointly held by Economic and Commercial Office of the Chinese Embassy in Denmark and Confederation of Danish Industry (DI). Economic and Commercial Counsellor, Mme. Zhang Shujing and Director of International Market Policy of DI, Mr. Peter Thagesen attended the seminar and gave the opening remarks. The diplomat from Economic and Commercial Office introduced China’s economy, China-Denmark economic and commercial relations, and China’s further opening-up policy, welcoming Danish companies to attend the China International Import Expo (CIIE). The diplomat in charge of consular affairs introduced China’s visa policy. Mr. Thagesen introduced trade relations between China and EU as well as Denmark, and main concerns from EU and Denmark. Afterwards, diplomats, experts from DI and Danske Bank, representatives from the Danish companies exchanged their views regarding China’s business environment, Foreign Investment Law, IPR protection, foreign investment negative list, China-US trade disputes, application of business visa, etc.
DI is Denmark's largest employer and business organization with around 11000 members. It is also the organizing agency of the CIIE in Denmark.
